Richard Tuschman:
HOPPER MEDITATIONS hosted by Elliott Forrest Purchase this very special program to raise money for Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center with world-renowned artist Richard Tuschman. In conversation with Peabody award winning host, Elliott Forrest, Mr. Tuschman will share his work from his series of photographs entitled Hopper Meditations, inspired by the paintings of Edward Hopper. To create these works, Tuschman builds dollhouse-sized dioramas, which he then photographs and digitally incorporates life-sized models – including himself – to create realistic scenes reminiscent of Hopper’s imagery. As in many of Hopper’s well-known paintings, the characters’ in Tuschman’s pictures are imbued with a sense of anticipation, seemingly vacillating between introspection and isolation. Your Purchase is your generous support of Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center. We are especially grateful to ArtsRock for their kind support in bringing this to you! Thank YOU for helping us raise funds for Edward Hopper House.
