Edward Hopper House is deeply grateful to our friend, neighbor, and generous benefactor, Rich Ellis, of Ellis Sotheby's International Realty for his continued generosity in hosting our annual Arts Ed benefit each autumn.
We also thank Marylyn Dintenfass for her generous hospitality and hosting this year’s annual benefit at “Water Run.”
"Water Run" is an extraordinary, modernist, country estate on 15+ acres located in the Hudson Highlands, only one hour north of NYC. Built by and for renowned architect designer, Paul Mayen and his partner Edgar Kaufman Jr. The home and its gardens have always attracted artists and collectors because of its museum qualities and aesthetic value. Water Run is set within a natural landscape with a whimsical twist to classic garden designs along with follies that add extravagance to this serene landscape.

"Hoppers in the Hudson Highlands" Arts Ed benefit event was a superb success due to the generosity of event sponsor Richard Ellis of Ellis Sotheby's International Realty and the gracious hospitality of Marylyn Dintenfass who hosted this year’s benefit at her beautiful residence and truly breathtaking property 'Water Run.' The energy and optimism found among the event's attendees translated into significant support for the Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center as it moves forward toward 2022 and grows its art education series and award winning Nighthawks teen leadership program."
