VISITING THE MUSEUM
EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS
VISITING THE MUSEUM
- Please plan your visit in advance since we will be open initially for a limited number of hours each week.
- Currently, the Museum will be open in August on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm.
- No more than eight people will be scheduled for each time slot.
- You must make reservations for visiting the Museum.
- Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for seniors. There is no charge for Members of Edward Hopper House.
- In our effort to limit the number of people in the Museum at any one time, no docents will be available to provide guided tours. We will provide materials that explain the importance of the House to preserving Edward Hopper’s legacy and serving as center of inspiration to the community and aspiring artists.
EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS
- By special arrangement, we have extended the current exhibit, OBJECT LESSONS, until November 29th, 2020. This a particularly powerful exhibit relating to Hopper’s work and one not to be missed if possible.
- We are considering holding at least one jazz concert this summer or early fall, with a more limited audience due to social distancing. Please check our website for updated news of this event.
- The garden is available for rentals for small gatherings in keeping with COVID-19 guidelines.
- We hope to resume art workshops and school programs early in 2021, and please check back for exact dates.
- We are continuing construction on our new ramp and restroom renovation to offering wheelchair-accessible entrance and restroom so all Hopper fans can enjoy his House.
- We are active on our our social media channels (scroll down for details), and we've adjusted our exhibitions - Nighthawks ARTifacts, Object Lessons - to be viewable on our website.
