Celebrating a Community Vision: "Hopper's Nyack: Sketch Mob"
We are thrilled to announce a special exhibition at the Nyack Library showcasing the vibrant, collaborative spirit of our community!
Visit the Nyack Library to see over twenty five drawings and paintings. on view in the Stairway Gallery, that capture the unique streetscapes, landmarks, and people of Nyack. These works were created by artists of all skill levels and ages participating in the Edward Hopper House Museum's "Hopper's Nyack: Sketch Mob." Led by Bill Batson in 2024 and 2025, the artists were inspired by the legacy of Edward Hopper sketching his childhood hometown.
This exhibition is a proud partnership between the Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center, Urban Sketchers Nyack, the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, and the Nyack Library.
