Sit back, relax and immerse yourself into the world of jazz at Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center for our 39th season of Jazz in the Garden. The house of American realist painter Edward Hopper will be kicking off the summer on June 30 with a Next Generation Jazz night from 5 to 8 p.m. in the garden where Toni Fallon will announce a youth jazz scholarship through her fund Rockland Community Foundation.

The official beginning of Jazz in the Garden will be July 11 and the dates to follow are July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8 and the final night on August 15. Tickets are a $5 donation to Edward Hopper House and all events will take place from 7:30-9:30 pm. Refreshments will be available for purchase prior to the show and during the intermission. Guests are invited to bring their own lawn chair or blanket.

The performers for these events are, in chronological order, Scott Reeves “Music of the Memphis Jazz Masters”, Mayra Caseles & Cocomamas, Don Falzone Quartet, Adam Kolker & Scott Wendholt Quartet, Judi Silvano & The Zephyr Band and they will end off their season with A Celebration of Dick Voigt. In the case of inclement weather, check our website to keep updated with any changes.

“My artwork is ever changing and evolving as I focus on skill and technique. I enjoy hand building porcelain jewelry and creating wheel thrown clay art forms, as I experiment with glazes and textures. I currently have studios in Rockland & the Adirondacks, and I am a Clay Instructor at ROCA. As a past Hopper House Board Member, I’m thrilled to come back home and share with our community. Love the Jazz festival! Looking forward to displaying my artwork & performing on my wheel, and enjoying great music with friends.”
