The Edward Hopper House Art Center selects exhibits through the Exhibition Committee. This volunteer committee is a diverse  group of professional artists and/or curators.

Exhibits are scheduled approximately 18 months to two years in advance. There are approximately seven shows per year, including the following annual exhibits:

• Annual Members' Exhibit and Sale
  
• Annual Juried Small Matters of Great Importance
• Invitational exhibition- Work selected by members of the gallery selection committee or outside curators
  

You are welcome to submit work to be considered for the above shows, if the guidelines allow. We ask that selected artists become members of Hopper House.

The next calendar year with openings is 2014.  In order to review your art for the remaining two or three annual slots, submissions must be received by October 1, 2012 to be considered for the 2014 calendar year.   Submissions can be made by sending the following via email or CD (cps will not be returned):  

1. Ten images, identifying each image with your name, title of work, medium, and dimensions.

1. Resume/bio and artist statement

Exhibitions are usually scheduled for two or three artists at one time and all media is considered.  We encourage group submissions and curator proposals as well.  Work will only be considered for the calendar year next being scheduled.   We may ask you to resubmit or hold on to your work for consideration in the following year.  Responses will be sent to artists by October 31.
